1. Unpacking and Preparing the Appliance
Before first use, ensure all parts of the transport packaging are removed. Open the loading door and pull off adhesive strips from inside the machine on top of the drum. Remove the foil hose and polystyrene padding from the machine.
2. Selecting Installation Site
Install the dryer in a clean place where dirt does not build up. Ensure air can circulate freely around the appliance. Do not obstruct the front ventilation grille or the air intake grilles at the back of the machine. Place on a firm, level surface to minimize vibration and noise.
3. Leveling the Appliance
Once in its permanent operating position, check that the dryer is absolutely level using a spirit level. If it is not level, raise or lower the feet until it is.
4. Electrical Connection
Ensure that any electrical work required to install this appliance is carried out by a qualified electrician or competent person. Make sure the appliance does not stand on the electrical supply cable. If necessary, adjust the feet to allow air to circulate freely under the appliance.
5. Removing Residues
To remove any residues from production, wipe the dryer drum with a damp cloth or carry out a brief drying cycle (approximately 30 minutes) with damp cloths inside the machine.
6. Door Reversal
For easier loading or unloading, the door can be reversed. This operation should only be carried out by a qualified engineer. Contact your local service centre for assistance.
